Most value creation frameworks stop short of full realisation. In our experience, up to a third of value creation potential goes unrealised.
Linebreak is a venture builder for mid-cap technology and services companies. We capture this value by building new ventures alongside companies.

The Opportunity
Most value creation frameworks focus on optimising current operations and expanding existing capabilities. The third level, building entirely new ventures, is where exit multiples change. Most frameworks classify it as aspirational upside and never resource it properly.
Level 1: Optimise Operations
Deploy AI across current operations to improve revenue per head and defend margins. Stabilises the business and generates the capital for what follows.
Level 2: Augment Capabilities
Turn domain expertise into higher-margin, repeatable services. Human experts working at multiples of their previous output, with platform economics that begin to decouple revenue from headcount.
Level 3: Launch New Ventures
Build new business models with their own P&L, customers, and recurring revenue. Based on our experience, this is where 20–30% of unrealised value sits in a typical portfolio company.
How We Engage
An integrated process that takes a venture from strategic discovery to production-grade software and early customers. Strategy, engineering, and ecosystem — all under one roof.
Vision & Strategy
We identify where untapped value sits in your business. We map your IP, expertise, and assets, then design the venture architecture, P&L structure, and go-to-market blueprint. Pattern recognition built across 35 years and hundreds of technology companies, accelerated by AI-assisted discovery.
Output:
A validated venture thesis, business model, and investment case, delivered in weeks.
Design & Prototyping
Strategy becomes a working product. Rapid prototyping on our reusable asset platform. AI-assisted design and build cycles. Real software, built for real users from the first sprint.
Output:
A functioning prototype and early customer validation.
Development & Deployment
Production-grade engineering from our 10-person innovation delivery team. AI deployed across the full development lifecycle, covering code generation, automated testing, and deployment orchestration. Go-to-market execution within your existing client base, with unit economics tracked from day one.
Output:
A live venture, early revenue, and a scalable operating model.
Linebreak co-invests alongside portfolio companies and their financial sponsors. We contribute engineering effort, strategic expertise, and ecosystem access in exchange for equity, minimising upfront cash burn during the venture build phase. Venture IP is assigned to the portfolio company. Linebreak holds a minority equity position with aligned exit terms.
Focused, time-boxed engagements for venture design and business model validation. Typically 4 to 8 weeks. Fee-based, with defined outputs per sprint.
Linebreak contributes engineering capacity and ecosystem access in exchange for equity. Additional equity tied to performance metrics. Venture IP assigned to the portfolio company. Minority position with aligned exit terms. Structured per venture.
Speed matters in venture building. A small, focused team moves fast. Ventures also need depth at critical moments: specialised engineering, domain expertise, market access. Linebreak’s ecosystem gives every venture access to these capabilities on demand, without building permanent overhead.
